Google TV Remote App for iOS Available Download iTunes Link

Google TV app was released for android last december and after four months it was developed to iOS devices. Remote App for Google TV has been launched for iPhone/ iPad. The app is now available for iPhones, iPads, and iPods running iOS 3 version or higher.

  • Your phone improves standard TV remote activities like changing channels or accessing your DVR. I love using it at night, because the back light means I can see all the buttons in the dark and the buttons are easy to find. Watch

Apple iOS 4.3 Beta Features Multi Touch Gestures & Wifi-Hotspot

iOS 4.3 beta is now available to download. Apple has finally gave up on the mandatory side switch configuration and will let the users decide whether they'll use it as Mute key or as an Orientation lock. Other new features spotted on the iPad are the awesome multi-touch gestures. You will be able to use four (or five) fingers to minimize an app and go to the homescreen, swipe through all running apps or bring up the multi-tasking bar with a single swipe up.

Apple iOS 4.3 Features:-

  • Multi-touch gestures (iPad only) for quick access to homescreen, multi-tasking bar or the next/previous running app
  • Configurable iPad slide switch
  • iAd fullscreen banners on iPad

  • Possible video effects (Turbine, X-ray, Tunnel of Light, Collapse, Thermal Camera, Kaleidoscope and Normal)

For Developers, Stream video from your app to a widescreen TV using new Media Player APIs that support AirPlay video. You can also update your web content to support AirPlay. Track the popularity of your streams and measure their performance. New AVFoundation APIs allow you to track information including how many people are watching your videos, how long they're watching them, and performance metrics like observed bitrate and number of dropped frames. Use these statistics to fine tune your authoring process and deliver optimized content to your users. iAd full screen banners grab the attention of users by taking advantage of the large screen of iPad to launch an immersive, interactive iAd experience. This new banner format is easy to implement. And Apple sells and serves the ads to your app while you collect 60% of the advertising revenue generated.The iOS 4.3 beta lacks support for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch second generation, so the 4.2.1 might as well be the last supported build for those devices. Other interesting things discovered within the iOS 4.3 code are a few live video effects, which might be accessible on both FaceTime and video recording. We've already mentioned them in the list above. The last thing from the code revealed so far is the Find My Friends feature. This is supposed to be part of the MobileMe services and bring functionality similar to that of Google Latitude. There is no word on when iOS 4.3 will be announced or launched but we're guessing it will happen in the end of January.

Apple gearing up for iPad 2? More Details Foxconn to Work

Recent rumours about iPad has again been confirmed. Recently Microchip Manufacturing giant Foxconn seems to be in the deal. Foxconn has been notified that it will be working on shipments of 400,000 to 600,000 iPad 2 units within the next 100 days. The report originally figured that Apple would be gearing up stock of its next tablet in January, but the company is now holding it back until late February due to further software testing. Apple iPad 2 is expected to be released by April 2011.

iphone File Manager iFile Cracked Cydia Download

As known iphone doesn’t have built in File Manager other than Sync with iTunes.  iFile is a file browser with capabilites to email, edit, delete, copy, cut, paste, rename, view, compress, uncompress and transfer files. Below are step by step methods to install iFile.

 

  1. Get Cracked deb file HERE
  2. Rename the downloaded deb ot iFile.deb or whatever you like
  3. Copy the deb file to var/mobile/
  4. Open up mobile terminal and do the following exactly
  5. type in su (press return)
  6. type in alpine (press return)
  7. type in dpkg -i iFile.deb (press return)
  8. Respring
  9. Open up iFile and tap on the bottom left settings button
  10. scroll down to registration and enter any email you want
  11. Close ifile and open ifile again and it should register

OR

Ssh your iPhone. And make a folder called AutoInstall in/var/root/Media/Cydia/ so you have /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall which is case sensitive and drop this debs file in the autoinstall folder, respring and reboot your iPhone.

VLC Media Player For iPhone & iPad To Be Removed GPL Conflicts Complaints

Recent complaints against VLC GPL (general public license) set to remove from appstore from being publicly distributed. this has come into direct conflict with Apple’s DRM-based app store distribution model. The conflict of licenses were known to both parties prior to the app’s publication, and Videolan is stressing they are not at fault, since the app was ported to the app store via a third party developer. So if you are interested in VLC get it right now or it might not be available later.

Today, a formal notification of copyright infringement was sent to Apple Inc. regarding distribution of the VLC media player for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. VLC media player is free software licensed solely under the terms of the open source GNU General Public License(a.k.a. GPL). Those terms are contradicted by the products usage rules of the AppStore through which Apple delivers applications to users of its mobile devices. At the time of writing, the infringing application is still available. However, it is to be expected that Apple will cease distribution soon, just like it did with GNU Go earlier this year in strikingly similar circumstances: http://www.fsf.org/news/2010-05-app-store-compliance . Thus,users of iOS-based devices would be deprived of VLC media player, as a consequence of the intransigently tight control Apple maintains over its mobile applications platform. In any case, while the rules for distribution of open-source or "free" (as in speech) software are extremely relaxed,they do exist and have to be abode by. VLC and open-source software in general would not have reached their current quality and success if it had not been for their license. Therefore, blatant license violation cannot be tolerated at any rate. Concerned users are advised to look for application on more open mobile platforms for the time being."

iPad 2 release Date : Expected Q1 2011

iPad component suppliers in Taiwan have revealed to one of the wall street analyst that the new generation Ipad (ipad 2) will include 7-inch High res Retina Display , a camera( 3 MPor 5 Mega pixel) & 128 GB of memory capacity. he also added that the ipad2 will have a micro USB port .

It is also romoured that the next gen Ipad is expected to release in the first quarter of 2011.
The iPad 2 will also correct several perceived flaws of its original model. coming with a mini or micro USB port and a camera is quite Juicy. im sure that iPad 2 will have a retina display which we have seen in iphone 4. I really loved the display of iphone4 . The same technology will be used now in apple ipad2 which will be damn impressive.

Some sources claims that ipad 2 will be shipped with 10 inch display.
i predict new ipad too have the similar aluminum back, the same bezel, with similar weight and the battery life may be slightly changed due to camera feature.
