HTC Desire Finally Gets Gingerbread: Android 2.3 Update by End of July

HTC’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Desire is on the edge. For those in the UK will first taste the Gingerbread flavor. HTC announced it on Facebook. So the update will start rolling out before the end of this month. A more specific time frame hasn’t been given, but hey, in three weeks tops your HTC Desire will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread! Well, some devices. First of all, the update will probably come over-the-air, and as such might see a staggered release. HTC Desire smartphones that were purchased SIM-free and unlocked first will receive the update. Initially HTC denied update for Desire for hardware restrictions but later on announced update is in works. Finally a worth waiting update for many Desire users out there.

Samsung I9103 Galaxy Z Specifications | Features | Price

The SC-LCD screen on the I9103 Galaxy Z has a 4.2” Screen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The Galaxy Z is powered by a Tegra 2 but its 5MP camera is only capable of 720p video recording. The Galaxy Z has 8GB of built-in memory that is expandable through the microSD slot. The phone front side looks similar to Samsung Galaxy S II but differs on backside. The home button is different compared to Galaxy S II. Also Galaxy Z has a 1.3MP video call camera, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and earpiece.
