Xiaomi had announced the Mi3 in India, which now has been launched for Rs.13,999.
RedMi 1S, and RedMi Note are also coming to India for Rs6,999 and Rs.9,999 respectively. The RedMi 1S andRedMi Note will be launched soon this quater. The Mi3 is up for pre-order on FlipKart will be available from July 22.
Xiaomi Mi3 has a 5-inch 1080p IPS display sourced from Sharp and JDI, a 13-megapixe rear camera from Sony, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 2.1-megapixel front facing camera and a 3,050mAh battery. This mobile is on par with top end smartphones from Samsung, Sony & HTC in features yet priced aggressively. with top end of the line from other manufactures starting around 35,000/- INR (580$ approx) Mi3 is priced at 14000/- INR(233$ approx) this could turn out to be a great fetching factor for sales boot in India. And Xiaomi smartphones come with heavily modded Android called "MIUI"(miui 5.0 current version) Its a flavor of android 4.3 jellybean and updated periodically.
