Android Smartphones are troubling users to backup their contact list, text messages, photos, apps, ringtones, and settings here are few steps and apps to solve backup issues.
Android devices running Froyo or later versions, there is a "Back up my data" option that allows to store some of your information on Google cloud servers. You can simply navigate it by pressing-- Menu and going to Settings > Privacy. Enabling the option will automatically back up your installed applications, your Wi-Fi settings, and even user settings. You can also enable the "Automatic restore" option to back up saved application data, such as game saves or custom app settings. Titanium Backup
By rooting your Android phone, you remove the restricted file system limitation, and root-aware applications will be able to back up all of your application data. MyBackup Pro is capable of this; however, many people prefer the backup tool created specifically for rooted devices: Titanium Backup (free or $6.14 for Pro version). It includes tools useful for rooted devices, such as file encryption, ROM management tools, application version freezing, and even an experimental bloatware exterminator for removing unwanted pre-installed software. Titanium Backup allows scheduled automated backups to online storage. You'll also want to keep in mind that any data that requires you to be rooted in order to back up will also require you to be rooted in order to restore it as well. This can be problematic when upgrading to a new device, as sometimes it can take a while before rooting methods are discovered. It's often wise to keep a root-free version of your backup files just in case.

Backup Android Files to Desktop PC
After installation of applications on computer and Android phone we need to make important change in the settings of the application on the computer. Settings can be found in File/Settings, here in the connection section we need to select the phone type as ‘Phone with Google Android-OS’, in connect via… select ‘Autodetect’ option and finally click OK.
On Android phone client, Keep the application running.
After establishing connection if the application on the computer asks for synchronization then simply select YES.
When the synchronization is complete, you can see all your messages, contacts, call logs and other important stuff like file manager to manage SD card files and phone memory files.
To create backup simply go to Extras/Create backup and then select appropriate backup options. Backup is then created in one single file and can be saved on the computer.
