Nokia 5530 vs 5800 Xpressmusic
Nokia has recently launched its new version of already popular 5800. The new phone carries 5530 has its model number. 5530 doestn’t have 3G (though you’ve still got WiFi), but all the functions and features of 5800. 5530 is a lot slimmer and attractive than 5800 with its metal finish. Guess what? its quoted for a price which is lessthan 5800 and thus makes this phone an interesting choice.
5530 has a well finished metal coverng unlike 5800 which has a plastic covering. 5530 has a flowery design on its back panel and a mesh design in the front. You feel stylish having 5530 in your hand, with only three back lights, green, white and red in front. Both mobiles have three buttons in the side panel, controls volume, lock/unlock the phone and to take pictures.
The speakers in 5530 are very large when compared to 5800, which has very thin speakers in the side panel. In 5800, features like power, 3.5 mm standard head phone jack and USB slot are present in the top side of the panel, but in case of 5530 every thing is shifted to the bottom side of the panel.5530 is significantly smaller and lighter with 104 x 49 x 13 mm (68 cc) and 107g when compared to 5580 which has 111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm (83 cc) and 109g.
5530’s 2.9 inches screen is smaller than 3.2 inch 5800 screen display . Both mobile screen size are lesser than 3.5 inch N97 mobile. But you wont find much difference between the screen size.You can find no difference in the camera features. Both phone has 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash.5530 has a 20 person contact carousel compared to 5800 which has only 4 person contact carousel.
5530 does not have a TV Out cable. It does not have a spare stylus. Its got very smaller memory card with no carrying case. There is no much difference in the speed as both have same RAM speed.
With metal finish and stylish look, Nokia 5530’s price is very much affordable. If you are not very keen about the 3G features, 5300 can be a good choice.
