PUMA announces a Solar Charged Smartphone

 

Sagem and Puma announced a Smartphone device today at Mobile World Congress. It  is solar charged sexy looking device. The Phone features a 2.8-inch, 240 x 320 QVGA touchscreen; a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, x6 zoom and video capabilities; Bluetooth; GPS; compass; pedometer; Web browsing; email; SMS and MMS. The most unique feature is probably the integrated solar cell for charging.

Unfortunately, the gushy release doesn't mention OS, price or even a specific release date. All we know is that the Puma Phone will be available through European carriers and on PUMA Online from April 2010, with international markets to follow.
