Motorola along with Verizon Wireless has announced yet another Droid targeting RIM’s Blackberry. DROID Pro with Qwerty keypad similar to that of Blackberry is now Official and ready to give a hard time to Blackberry Market. Droid Pro was the First Android Featured Fully Functional Business Handset.

Having a 1GHz CPU, the phone has full push corporate e-mail with corporate level security, unified calendar with additional work features, with pre-loaded Quick office Mobile Suite. The mentioned specifications include 1GHz OMAP 3620, 4 GB of storage (2 GB internal, and 2 GB removable), 512MB of memory, 802.11n 2.4GHz WIFI, Bluetooth 2.1, a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash and video capabilities, Latest Android 2.2 Froyo, and support for 3G Mobile Hotspot. Droid Pro also supports Adobe Flash Player 10 with full HTML Support. It has a Micro USB connector, Standard 3.5 MM Audio Jack, Pinch & Zoom with full support of Google Applications & Android Market. WCDMA up to 420 min, GSM up to 430 min Talktime. It supports various media like AAC, H.263, H.264, MPEG-4, AMR NB, AAC+ and captures at DVD quality (480p) up to 30fps. This first Business handset from Motorola could give blackberry a run. Sure this heats up the US Market of Corporate Smartphones.
